Travel Insurance From World Nomads

Travel insurance: simple & flexible

Nomad’s have a personality trait different to the rest. Flexibility. Whatever road blocks mess up the plans… When injuries cut a trip short a flexible tripper will find a way to make it work.

Are you on the road less travelled? Are you an adrenalin junkie? …love the dizzy heights, hunger for downhill speed, can’t resist the big stuff…mountains, waves, canyons. One day, sooner or later, you might find yourself in a ‘situation’.

Check out these ph8tel snowboard crashes! Nah! not fatal.

In a hotter climate;

JM was bitten by a shark while surfing in Bali and JH shattered her arm when she fell off a roof in Argentina. Read how World Nomads travel insurance saved them… on so many levels.

Wow this is a really interesting website with a lot good information. It looks really professional too.

One day I hope I can travel more often and this is definitely something I’m going to need. This just seems like something can any person that travels wouldn’t want. The last thing you would want is to be injured in another country with no way of paying hospital bills.

    Thanks for the information!

Hi Dylan. There are amazing stories of survival that come unexpectedly out of simple travel adventures. One of the world nomad customers was bitten by a shark while surfing in Bali. You can imagine how complicated that got!

When I was in Bali they told me ‘No Sharks’…guess what….I believed them!

      Thanks for stopping by.

    Hi there,

As an avid traveler must say you are 100% correct travel insurance is a must as not every where we go we are covered by local medical service. Even for us EU nationals the door to the old E -111 and EU health card is closing (one where your government pays!).

Hospital fees, even for expats can quickly add up! The thing is..as is the case in Thailand, they wont let you leave the country until you pay!

That’s right Derek, it gets complicated very quickly. Without insurance you need a minimum $5000 purely as emergency money. Thanks for your insight.

Hi Evan. World Nomad insurance covers everyone but especially the more active ( accident prone!) And adventurous.

I wish my friend from UK had it when she wrestled my other friend at the Falls Festival here recently. She is waiting for a knee reconstruction…at her own expense. Ugh!

I have a friend that is a huge adrenaline junky and I always wonder what would happen if they hurt themselves while on a grand adventure. I’ve always been very careful when it comes to taking risks because I don’t want to end up in a hospital bed for the rest of my life but at least with the World Nomads travel insurance I can be sure my family won’t go broke. Thanks for the info!

Next time you are on that page about World Nomads Nathan, see for yourself how affordable it actually is. I was really surprised and happy. Just put your details into the quote box to see what it is going to cost. You have to compare this to other providers of course, but you need to check that they are covering the adventurous in their policy too. ..apples and apples, so to speak.

      Thanks for stopping by. Janelle.
